Summer activities 09

These pictures were taken during the summer break from school.  We held a series of art activity days for local children aged 5 to 15.  The goal was to encourage learning through creativity & to get all of the young people to enjoy their selves with lots of fun and games.

Children worked on guided activities both on their own & in groups.  The results were wonderful - everyone produced some fantastic Art work in activities ranging from printing, ceramics, sign writing, felting, painting, weaving & more!

On Saturday 22nd August at the Spark Family Fun Day children entered the ‘SPARKS Art Competition’ for their chance to win great prizes including an iPod – the overall winner was Lucy Weindorfer age 10.

Following the success of the arts activities Spark is now recruiting young people to join an after school art club. If you are interested please email funds@spaakeducation.co.uk to register your interest.
